Thursday Evening-Rev. Bud Locke has been the Lead pastor of Hope Covenant Church since 2021. His passion is to encourage, equip, and empower disciples to make other disciples, multiplying centers of hope throughout the Diablo Valley. He served in the ECC as a church planter, project missionary, revitalization pastor, and ministry coach. He lives in Martinez, CA with his wife, Kara, and has two grown children, Kendra (in Seattle) and Nick (in Pasadena). Bud’s favorite “quiet times” are spent diving reef walls or exploring underwater wrecks.

Friday Morning- Rev. Abraham Bejarano is pastor of Emmanuel Covenant Church in the city of Northridge, CA. He also serves as Coach of Church Planting and Adoptions for the Central Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. With a rich pastoral and academic background, as part of his work, he accompanies and supports diverse congregations, advocating for immigrants and helping Latino churches and others face their challenges with faith and vision.

Friday Evening- Rev. Dr. Barbara Ettinger is an ordained Covenant pastor and sought-after executive coach; speaker; and trainer. She serves the Covenant as the Coaching Project Manager for the Serve Clergy mission priority and is an active coach on the RGR Rooted Growing and Resilient team. Ettinger previously served the East Coast Conference as the Executive Associate Superintendent, overseeing pastors and churches from Maine to Virginia. Throughout her fruitful ministry career, she has worked for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as a trans local chapter planter and as their National Manager of Theological Formation; and for local congregations in church planting, parish ministry, and women’s ministry.  Ettinger and her husband Jeff relocated from Connecticut to California in September 2025 and are settling into their new lives in Santa Barbara. The Ettingers have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and the cutest—and smartest—grandson on the planet.

Saturday Morning – Sharon Kim is a pastor, spiritual director, and coach with over three decades of ministry experience. In 1995, she and her husband, David Kim, co-founded The Garden Church in Southern California, where they continue to serve and lead. Sharon currently serves as Vice President of the Covenant Asian Pastors Association (CAPA).

In addition to her ministry work, Sharon is a Professor of Sociology at California State University, Fullerton, where she studies the intersections of race and religion. She is the author of A Faith of Our Own, which explores how second-generation Korean Americans construct their faith and identity.

Sharon is the mother of two adult sons, Daniel and Joel, and is an award-winning landscape photographer.

Saturday Morning Pre-Session- Rev. Dr. Tim Morey (DMin, Fuller Theological Seminary) is the founding and lead pastor of Life Covenant Church in Torrance, California, an affiliate professor at Fuller Theological Seminary, and serves the conference as the PSWC Team Lead for Pastoral Health. His most recent book is Planting a Church Without Losing Your Soul: Nine Questions For the Spiritually Formed Pastor.
